Assignment 5: Artist Emulation - Keith Carter

Emulation of photographer Keith Carter's dreamlike style. My pictures were taken digitally (as opposed to his film photographs), so I edited them on the computer, making the edges blurred and the overall pictures black and white.

Assignment 4: Night Photography - Photo 2

My second night photography picture. Once again I had the camera set for an 8-second exposure and secured it on a tripod. I put the 10-second self-timer on and walked out into the left frame of the photo. I then had three people dance and spin behind me, making their movements blurred, and my figure focused.

My first night photograph for the assignment. Taken using an 8-second exposure with my camera on a tripod. After about four seconds I lifted up the camera and shook it to get the light trails.

My second Holga picture. Once again the picture's composition changed but I'm happy with it.

My first Holga picture. It definitely turned out differently than I anticipated, but I'm really happy with it and like the unfocused subject!
